Mike has been designing inspirational and imaginative spaces for Private, Community and Corporate clients since 1987. Growing up in the Shropshire / Welsh borders with parents who ran an Alpine plant nursery and environmental study centre, he was influenced by a more natural approach to gardening from an early age. Experienced and trained in Art & Garden Design, Habitat Creation, Wildlife Gardening, & Horticultural Therapy. Mike has worked with the National Trust & Shropshire Wildlife Trust and has developed a sensitive and natural gardening style.
Mike studied Art at Shrewsbury and at Oxford Brookes University, Countryside Management at Reasheath in Cheshire then Garden Design at Pershore College of Horticultural with the School of Garden Design.
Previous to becoming a Garden Designer he ran a successful landscaping business “Oxford Wildlife Gardens”. Mike then came home to work for the Shropshire Wildlife Trust as an Environmental Education Officer, then Countryside Warden for the National Trust.
